Managing Director
Modern’s approach reflects how I believe leadership advisory should be done: with curiosity, partnership, and a deep understanding of the business. Coming from industry myself, I value helping organizations find leaders who can truly move their companies forward and that's exactly what we do here with the highest levels of professionalism and commitment.

Jennifer Watkins is a Managing Director in the Global Industrials Practice at Modern Executive Solutions. She advises industrial and manufacturing organizations on critical leadership appointments, particularly executives responsible for driving commercial growth, operational performance, and enterprise transformation.

Jennifer brings nearly two decades of experience in the industrial sector, including senior commercial leadership roles prior to entering executive search. Before joining Modern, she held leadership positions at Arconic, formerly part of Alcoa, where she led global and domestic sales teams, developed market growth strategies, and managed commercial portfolios across aerospace, automotive, industrial, and packaging markets.

This operating experience gives Jennifer a practical perspective when advising clients on leadership needs. She is known for quickly understanding complex organizations, identifying the capabilities required to drive growth, and building trusted relationships with both clients and candidates throughout the search process.

Jennifer partners with clients on a broad range of executive leadership appointments across industrial and manufacturing organizations. While much of her work centers on leaders responsible for driving growth, market expansion, and enterprise performance, she also supports CEO, technology, and transformation leadership roles as organizations navigate evolving markets and increasing digital complexity.

Outside of her professional work, Jennifer is a dedicated advocate for individuals with differing abilities and is actively involved with organizations supporting the Down syndrome community, including The Lucky Mama Project and Down Syndrome of Indiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
