Brian has built his entire career within leadership advisory and executive search, carving out a niche at the intersection of technology, operations, knowledge management, and research.
He got his start at Heidrick & Struggles, one of the top global leadership advisory firms, beginning in an operational role before moving into research within the Consumer Markets practice. From there, he pivoted from an industry research specialization to functional leadership and growth, running practice and knowledge management for the firm's Marketing, Sales & Strategy Officers practice.
In 2017, Brian was recruited to Allegis Partners, the generalist executive search arm of the Allegis Group. There, he reimagined, rebuilt, and led the research and knowledge management function while playing a meaningful role in shaping the firm’s broader strategy and operations, including with its legal executive search-focused sister company Major, Lindsey & Africa.
In 2021, he was recruited to SwingSearch, a retained search firm focused on placing go-to-market executives primarily at venture-backed startups. Brian’s original mandate to level up and scale the research & knowledge management function soon expanded into doing the same for firmwide technology and operations, bringing strategy, processes, and systems to the forefront.
In late 2023, Brian joined Modern Executive Solutions as its first head of technology operations, where he built and leads a team dedicated to ensuring the firm has access to and proper training for the latest integrated technology and resources.
Brian earned his B.S. from Quinnipiac University, majoring in international business with a minor in marketing. A lifelong New York sports fan despite never being particularly good at playing sports himself, Brian lives in southern New Jersey with his wife, two sons, some horses, cats, and a dog. The animals prefer the rest of the family over him, and he’s made peace with that.
